JOPLIN, Mo. —
Kathryn Rose Jones, 61, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at her home in Carthage, Mo.
Kathryn was born Nov. 16, 1951, to Robert Reed and Evelena Coffman in Richwood, W.V. She worked as the Director of Patient Access at McCune Brooks Hospital. Kathryn was a member of the Covenant World Outreach. She was a volunteer for NAHAM, CHAM, United Way, Relay for Life, Advisory board at W.T.I school, Special Olympics, and Willow Crest Children's Hospital.
Kathryn is survived by her mother, Evelena Coffman, of Carthage; her step-mother, Carol Reed, of Carthage; one daughter, Tina Dingess, of Carthage; one step-brother, Tom Pitt, of Mount Vernon, Mo; one sister, Diane Reed, of Dallas, Texas; one half-sister, Tracy Ryan, of Atlantic, Iowa; one step-sister, Debbie Miller, of San Diego, Calif.; one niece, Krystal Reed, of Dallas, Texas; one aunt, Barbara Coffman, of Gassaway, W.V.; one grandson, Slade Dingess; and one granddaughter, Kourtney Richardson both, of Carthage. Kathryn was preceded by her father, Robert Reed; one brother, Charlie Bill Reed; and step-grandmother, Betty Coffman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Covenant World Outreach, Carthage, Mo. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
