SENECA, MO —
Charles Edward Baker, 86, Seneca, Mo., formerly of Syracuse, N.Y., died April 26, 2012, at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Mo.
Mr. Baker was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Syracuse, and moved to the area seven years ago. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a gear cutter. Charles loved going to the casinos and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Gregory Baker, Seneca; a daughter, Christine Baker, address unknown; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, Craig Baker, Syracuse. He is preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Baker.
The body has been taken for cremation and no services are planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
