OLATHE, KS —

Stuart D. Brownlee, 45, of Olathe, Kan., passed away Jan. 11, 2013, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood, Colo.

He was born Feb. 20th, 1967, in Jerfferson City, Mo. He graduated from Parkwood High School in Joplin, Mo., in 1985. He attended CMU in Warrensburg, Mo., and MSSU in Joplin, where he received an associate degree. He later continued his education at UMKC in Kansas City, Mo. He was employed for 18 years at Water One in Johnson County, where he was currently a GIS Analyst. He attended church at Heartwood Community Church in Olathe.

He is survived by his son Garrett, of the home; his parents, Richard and Barbara Brownlee, of Rogers, Ark.; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Jana Brownlee; and two nieces, Paige and Peyton Brownlee, all of Carl Junction, Mo.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17th, at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund for his son, Garrett Brownlee.
