WEBB CITY, Mo. — Carol Francis Wray Hutchcraft, age 89, of Webb City, Mo., passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

Born Oct. 15, 1923, in Maryville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Edith Wray. She lived the past 31 years in the Lockwood and Joplin areas, moving from Northwest Missouri. Carol was a beauty operator in her early life and later was a nurses aid. She was a member of Blendville Christian Church.

On Dec. 31, 1954, she married Bill G. Hutchcraft at Union Star, Mo. He survives.

Additional survivors include three sons, Gene Hutchcraft and wife, Debbie, of Carterville, Mo., Steve Hutchcraft and wife, Donna, of Joplin, Randy Hutchcraft and wife, Sandra, of Enid, Okla.; one sister, Mayferd McQuery, of Alexandria, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A sister, Iva Elsworth, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Chapel with family members officiating. Interment will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
