Patricia Truchon

JOPLIN, MO — Patricia Lee Truchon, 79, died on Jan. 28, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

She was born Feb. 8, 1933, the daughter of James A. Henry and Mary E. Henry, at Hutchinson, Kan. She graduated from Hutchinson High School on May 24, 1951. Patricia had lived in the area since 1983, moving from Omaha, Neb.

Patricia married Marshall Truchon on March 2, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1973. From the marriage there were five children born, Gary Marshall Truchon, of Carl Junction, Pamela Ann Mazzocco, husband, Michael, of Joplin, Kathy Jo Levine, husband, Richard, of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Denise Marcelle Cox, husband, Stephen, of Carl Junction, and James Andrew Truchon, wife, Kim, of Baxter Springs, Kan.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Aaron Truchon (Amelia), Christopher Mazzocco (Chelynn), Ryan Mazzocco (Lacey), Heather Rowan (Brian), Alissa Barham, Sasha Levine, Allyson Levine, Daniel Levine, Sonya Parks (Curtis), Matthew Cox,  Ashley Lassley (Sage), Calli Rost (Thomas), Austin Truchon and Kaylyn Truchon; and 15 great-grandchildren, Sierra Truchon, Moira Truchon, Noah Truchon, Carley Mazzocco, Carson Mazzocco, Anna Mazzocco, Leah Mazzocco, Carly Rowan, Ava Rowan, Taylor Barham, Corrine Barham, Jace Noe, Carter Levine, Davyn Levine and Paxton Parks.  She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Hutchinson, Kingman, Kan., Janet Dean, (Carl) Englewood, Colo., and Linda Wilson (Ron), Lees Summit, Mo.; and a brother-in-law, Dave Ingram, Hutchinson. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Karen Ingram.  

Patricia was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a member of the West Congregation in Joplin. As such this gave her great confidence in the Holy Scriptures and the promises contained therein. Patricia was loyal to Jehovah God and his Son Christ Jesus. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1201 South Schifferdecker, Joplin. Brother Robert Hoffman will officiate followed by a graveside service at the Carterville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
