JOPLIN, MO —

Doris E. Perrin, age 88, of Joplin, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1924, to James Cash and Fanna Wodrum Cash. Doris worked on the line at the cigar factory in Joplin for many years and also at Stellite Division of Cabot Corporation, where she retired from on Dec. 1, 1980, in Kokomo, Ind. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City.

Doris married Frank Perrin on Nov. 14, 1989, in Miami, Okla. He survives at the home.

She is also survived by 10 stepchildren; multiple step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Archie Cash, Frances Lane, Fawney Boyer, Edna Whilhite, Pauline Wilson and Nellie Penn.

Doris has been taken for cremation. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.

Services are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
