NEOSHO, Mo. —
Delma Yvonne Thomas, 77, entered into rest on Feb. 14, 2013, at her home, following a sudden illness.
She was born Sept. 1, 1935, to Cecil M. and Zelma M. (Patton) Barker. Delma was a lifelong area resident and was a seamstress working at McGintys Department Store for 23 years. She was a member of Ozark Springs Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses.
Delma married Merle Thomas on Jan. 26, 1954, in Neosho, Mo. He has preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Diane and husband, Rob Willis, Julie and husband, Gary Russell, both of Neosho; brothers, Charley Barker, of Neosho, Tommy and wife, Coeta Barker, of Granby; sister, Beverly and husband, J.C. Turner, of Granby; grandchildren, Jeremy Willis, Amee Stauffer, Aaron Willis, Sarah Willis, Andrew Russell, James Russell, John Russell; great-grandchildren, Avery Willis, Yszabehl Stauffer, Ghabriel Stauffer.
Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18, 2013, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Neosho, Mo., Scott Hurshman officiating. Family will receive friends and family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Rob and Diane Willis's home located at 11102 Gateway Dr. Neosho, Mo.
