JOPLIN, Mo. —
Jo Ann (Jody) Kendall, age 75, of Joplin, Mo., went home to be with her Lord Monday, July 1, 2013.
She was born in Joplin, Feb. 17, 1938.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Kendall in 2008.
Jody is survived by her four children, daughter, Rebekah and husband, Brent Arehart, of Joplin, daughter, Rhonda and husband, David Pruitt, of Lamar, Mo., son, Randy and his wife, Leonna Kendall, of Vinita, Okla., and daughter, Deborah and Rick Smoots, of Lamar; two brothers, Chuck and his wife, Barb, of Tulsa, Okla., and Ken and wife, Judy, of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Margaret Bowlby and Shirley Woolsey and husband, Ronnie, all of Oronogo, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Saginaw Baptist Church in Saginaw, Mo. She worked for Eagle-Picher for 18 years until retiring in 1995. She loved volunteering at her church and loved spending time with her family every chance she got. She will be missed by family and friends. She touched each heart and was a blessing to everyone she came in contact with. We'll see you in heaven Jody.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Saginaw Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Stark officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary, of Joplin.
