JOPLIN, Mo. —
Carol G. Henson Bebee, age 78, of Joplin, Mo., passed away at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Mercy Hospital Joplin.
Carol was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Joplin, and was a lifetime Joplin resident, graduating from Joplin High School in 1952. She later attended Joplin Business College and entered the medical profession as a secretary working for several area doctors, including Dr. Scorse and Dr. Kuhn. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Dale Bebee and wife, Amy, Carl Junction, Mo.; four daughters, Roxanne Bebee Blatz and husband, Roger, Placitas, N.M., Dianna Bebee Riner and husband, Jim, Joplin, Marianne Bebee Clark and husband, John, Powhatan Point, Ohio, and Frances Bebee Boyd and husband, Daniel, Monett, Mo.; one sister, Mary Jeanette Von Paige, Webb City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Visitation will follow the service. Following cremation her ashes will be buried in the Hornet Cemetery, south of Joplin.
Memorial contributions are requested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in care of the mortuary.
