LEES SUMMIT, MO —
Randall Kent League, 55, of Lees Summit, Mo., died Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Lacey, Wash., while away for business.
He was born April 7, 1957, in Carthage, Mo., the son of Jack T. and Phyllis A. Keeling League. Randall was a 1976 graduate of Westland High School in Galloway, Ohio. He was a United States Navy Veteran and member of the Lees Summit Methodist Church. He currently worked for FEMA.
Randall married Patricia A. Peters in Raytown, Mo., on July 7, 1984. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his mother, Phyllis A. League, Joplin, Mo.; four sons, Chris (Shana) League, Blue Springs, Mo., Randy (Jami) League, Columbus, Ohio, Jeff (Silvia) League, Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Ryan (Heidi) League, Lees Summit; four sisters, Teresa Nunamaker, Cindy Sasek, and Patty League, all of Joplin, and Linda Parliment, Columbus; seven grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Mya, Violet, Jack, Mila and Zoe; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack T. League on Feb. 17, 1999.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at the New Testament Christian Church in Winchester, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Barnett Family Funeral Home, 1220 Walnut/ Highway 59, Oskaloosa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
