Howard Freeman Cossey, Jr., passed away May 29, 2013, after a five year battle with cancer.
He retired from Richmond Public Schools after over 25 years as an RTC teacher and over 40 years as a principle/teacher for the RPS Adult Night School. He was also an Aeronautical Engineer, businessman and Army veteran, who enjoyed being a pilot, outdoorsman and world traveler.
He is survived by his wife, of 56 years; two daughters; a sister; and numerous extended family and lifelong friends.
A brief memorial and committal service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at the Fairview Cemetery, three miles east of Alba, Mo., on D Hwy.
The family requests no flowers, just memories.
