CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — Neta June (Enders) Link, age 86, of Carl Junction, Mo, passed away June 25, 2013, at her daughters home in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Joplin, Mo., the daughter of Henry Lloyd Enders and Cordelia (Moss) Enders. She attended area schools graduating from Baxter Springs, Kansas High School in 1945. She moved to Carl Junction in 1945.

She was united in marriage to William E. Link on June 7, 1946. To this union two children were born.

She worked for DuPont, Fairchild Camera & Instrument and spent 25 years with LaBarge Electronics in Joplin, where she served as Supervisor of clerical employees in the Quality Control Department. She retired from LaBarge in Dec. 1993.

She was a very active member of the Carl Junction United Methodist Church, serving in the adult choir for 48 years, past President of the Wesleyan Guild and United Methodist Womens Group. She also served on many committees as well as being a member of the Official Board and as a Trustee of the Church. She served as a Sunday School teacher for various classes and a Leader and Neighborhood Chairman for Girl Scouts for 11 years.

Survivors include two children, Dixie Lea Jones and husband, Bob, of Tulsa, Okla. William Brent Link, Pittsburg, Kan.; one sister, Colleen Miller, of Andover, Kan.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Shoemaker, of Fayetteville, Ark., Stephanie Eddington and husband, Bob, of Tulsa, Amy Bendure, of Tulsa, Kyle Link and wife, Amanda, of Farmington, Ark., Kelli Jones, of Tulsa; 10 great-grandchildren, Blake Wilson and wife, Keisha, Brock Wilson, Nash Smith, Trevor Bendure, Juliana Bendure, Tyler Bendure, Kylee Link, Landon Link, Krystin Jones and Austin Jones; a great-great-grandson, Skyler Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lloyd Wayne and Phillip Norton, of the home; and a sister, Ida Mae Burton, of Kellogg, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Carl Junction Cemetery with Rev. Bob Simon officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Carl Junction United Methodist Church, in care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin.
