CARTHAGE, Mo. — Morris Lynn Roberts, 58, went to be with the Lord at 12:05 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. He will be greatly missed by family and many friends.

Morris was born May 31, 1954, in Shamrock, Texas to Charles Roberts and Frances Vernon Roberts. Morris graduated from Ulysses, Kan. high school in 1972, and Panhandle State University in 1976, with a degree in Industrial Arts.

He married Holli Speak on Nov. 20, 1976. He moved to Carthage from Guymon, Okla. in 1986. He owned and operated Premier Builders. He built many quality homes around the Four-States. He was a member of Bykota Church in Carthage for over 20 years. He was an avid Golfer. He loved being with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Holli Speak Roberts; one son, Josh and Brittany Roberts, Carthage, Mo.; and one daughter, Rachelle and Jamie Clarke, Kansas City, Mo.;  five grandchildren, Alivea and Brenlly Roberts, of Carthage and Mayson and Micah and new granddaughter Zoe (coming in December), Kansas City, Mo.; his Mother, Frances Roberts, Ulysses, Kan.; one brother, Richard and Leta Roberts, Hooker, Okla.; and one sister, Jan and Rick Trejo, of Ulysses; many nieces and nephews, friends and family.

Services will be held Tuesday, Nov.27, at 10 a.m. at Bykota Church in Carthage.  Interment will follow at Fullerton Cemetery south of Carthage. Viewing will be from 9 a.m., to 5 p.m., Monday, Nov.26, at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. After 5 p.m. the casket will be closed and remain closed.  Family will receive friends Monday evening, Nov. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bykota Church, south of Carthage.
