JOPLIN, MO —

Patsy Ann Hayes, 81, Joplin, Mo., went to be with the Lord Dec. 5, 2012.

She was the only daughter of Edwin Skeet Leonard Russell and Mattie Fatina (Elliott) Russell.

She grew up on the North side of Fort Worth Texas, with a large family on both sides. She graduated from North Side High School.

She married her soul mate Jewell Hayes and he preceded her in passing, August 2011.

She was also preceded in passing by a son Gregory; and a stepbrother, Edwin Russell.

She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Wright, Joplin; one son, David Weersing, Joplin; one stepdaughter, Peggy Hayes, Wichita, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
