Frances Kathleen Collier, 89, of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at her home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Greenfield, Mo., a daughter of the late John Marvin and Frances "Frankie" Katie (Quick) Johnson. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School in Greenfield, Mo.
On Jan. 23, 1946, Kathleen was united in marriage in Greenfield, to Franklin Meng Collier, who preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2009.
Kathleen was a wife and mother and always loved and enjoyed taking care of her family. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kathleen is survived by a daughter, Marta Fontaine and husband, Les, of Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Ashley Lickenbrock and husband, Matt, Seth Fontaine and wife, Crystal Nathan Fontaine and wife, Sarah; five great-granddaughters, Alyson, Kiersten, Bella, Makenzie and Madeline; one great-grandson, Jacob; and one sister, Maxine David, of Springfield. She was also preceded in death by a newborn daughter, Mary Beth Collier in 1955.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Greenfield Cemetery in Greenfield, Mo.
