NEOSHO, Mo. —
Roger Lee Hulsey, Neosho, Mo., at the age of 70, passed away on April 19, 2013, after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Roger was born in Neosho, on Oct. 14, 1942, to Bill and Loydine Hulsey. He was a lifelong resident and graduated from Neosho High School in 1961. He was the owner/operator of Hulsey Insulation and Construction Company.
Roger married Barbara Russell Frazier in Dec., of 1981. They enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets and never missed an opportunity to travel.
He was an avid football fan, loved going to movies, and playing card games with the family. One of his greatest enjoyments was his yearly Elk hunting trips to the Colorado Rocky Mountains. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Roger is survived by his wife, Barbara; his parents, Bill and Loydine Hulsey, of Neosho; two sons, Tad Hulsey, of Neosho and Wade Hulsey and wife, Tammy, of Lowell, Ark.; three grandchildren, Brooke Hulsey, Kylee Hulsey and Max Hulsey; brother, Bill Hulsey and wife, Karen, of Neosho; sister, Ruth Ann Campbell and husband, Bill, of Neosho.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel Of Memories, Neosho. James Keezer officiating. Interment will be in IOOF Cemetery, Neosho. The body will lie in state 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 22 & 23.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Roger may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Advocates c/o Clark Funeral Home P.O. Box 66 Neosho, MO 64850.
