JOPLIN, MO —
On a beautiful fall day, Joe went on to be with the love of his life, Corky. He was born on Aug. 9, 1924, in Joplin, Mo., and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.
He married Jeannine (Corky) Wood on Sept. 27, 1946, and they had 64 wonderful years together. She preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 2010.
He is survived by three daughters, Kerry Mousley and her husband, Tim, from Salina, Kan., Sally Hester, Tulsa, Okla., and Amy Selsor and her husband, Rick, from Mustang, Okla. He is survived by four grandchildren, Lara Dunn, of Denver, Colo., Jessica Morse and her husband, Don, of Williamsburg, Va., Jacob Passley and his wife, Jennifer, of Tulsa, Okla., and Riley Selsor, of Mustang. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Andrew Passley, Macy and Eliza Morse. He is survived by other family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening, Oct. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Parker Mortuary and the family would like you to join us in celebrating his life. Bring your best Joe Hester story to share.
