MIAMI, OK — Jacqueline Emily Enyart, 77, of Miami, Okla., passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, Mo.

Jacqueline was born March 17, 1935, at Jay, Okla., to the union of Charles E. and Margaret (Reuter) Hope.

She was united in marriage on May 2, 1959, to Alberto DiMeo. He preceded her in death in 1977. She later married Ray Enyart, at Miami. He preceded her in death in 1991.

Jacqueline worked as a waitress for many years including the Townsman, Thunderbird and Tweety Bird Restaurants. She last worked as a senior companion, helping care for the elderly. She enjoyed crocheting and needle point. She was known to be a great cook and baked some of the best chocolate chip cookies. She loved animals and an occasional swim. She was a member of the Trinity Worship Center in Baxter Springs.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; three sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by one daughter, Carmela Samanc and husband, Radu, of Queens, N.Y.; one son, Albert DiMeo and wife, Twylo, of Carthage, Mo.; two step grandchildren, Micah and Keaton; and one step great-grandson, Maverick.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel. Pastor Steve Fellers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Baxter Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Derfelt's Baxter Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Miami Humane Society, American Heart Association, or Freeman Cancer Institute.
