WEBB CITY, Mo. —
Letty Mae Wynne, age 80, of Webb City, Mo., was promoted into heaven to be with our Lord and Savior March 12, 2013, at 10:25 p.m.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy Miller (husband, Jim), Carl Junction, Patty Crane (husband, Stan), Webb City, Peggy Smith (husband, Dick), Wichita, Kan., and Kelly Jack (husband, Kyle), Rogers, Ark.; sons, James (Jimbo) Wynne Jr., Kansas City, Mo., John Wynne (wife, Bridget) Webb City, and Tim Wynne (wife, Deanne), Union Grove, Wis. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Letty accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1955, along with her husband. She was a loving, supportive pastor's wife for many years. She also ran a home day care for 14 years and touched the lives of many.
She was born in Houston, Texas, and lived in Galveston until the age of 13, when her family moved to Webb City.
She married James Wynne June 14, 1947. He preceded her in death Aug. 31, 2001. They had been married 54 years.
She loved to attend sporting events and activities that her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in.
We will be celebrating her life at 10 a.m. at Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City, on Monday, March 18. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Jeremy Miller, Bryan Crane, Aaron Crane, Jamie Wynne, Johnny Wynne, Cody Martin and Jacob Jack. Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren, Michael Miller, Kim Southern, Molly Miller, Kevin Crane, Stephen Crane, Shawn Fadling, Adrian Wynne, Ty Wynne, Rebekah Heath, Rachel Smith, Sarah Heath, Summer Belcher, Lyndsey Benford, Cassie Surber, Tricia Tamminga, Melissa Thorwall, David Wynne, Jonny Wynne and Chelsey Cowan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, Webb City.
Services are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
