JOPLIN, Mo. —
Brooke H. Russell, 16, of Joplin, passed away March 17, 2013, in Joplin.
Brooke was born Aug. 2, 1996, in Plano, Texas, to her parents, Kevin and Julissa Majia Russell.
She was a student at McAuley and most recently she was attending Joplin High School. Brooke attended the Joplin Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Brooke is survived by her parents, of the home; a brother, Brant Russell, of the home; her maternal grandfather, Edward Vasquez, of Joplin; and her paternal grandmother, Cheryl Miller, of Springfield, Mo.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Joplin Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Dwight Seek will officiate. Burial will be in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Joplin Seventh Day Adventist Church.
