Patrick Ryan Wooley

MIAMI, Okla. —

 

Patrick Ryan Wooley of Miami, Okla., passed away Friday Feb. 3, 2012. He was 28.

Patrick was born June 29, 1983, in Miami to Robert Dale and Treva L. (Shaw) Wooley.

He had lived in the Miami, Joplin area all his life. He graduated from Miami High School and was a driver for the Elderly care in Joplin.

He was a avid disc golf player and helped designed the course in Neosho and was a member of the Joplin Disc Golf League. He was a drummer and artist.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, on Sept. 11, 2011; his grandparents, W.W. and Lola Shaw; and grandfather Bobby Dale Wooley.

Survivors include, his mother, Treva L. Wooley of Miami; two brothers, Chad Shaw and wife, Jennifer, of Miami and Jason Wooley and wife, Rachelle, of Oologah, Okla.; his grandmother Beverly Ann Wooley of Miami; special friend Brandi Mangum; and his nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami. Rev. Bill Armstrong and Ty Fansler will officiate. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Thursday before the services at the Funeral Home.

Services are under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
