MIAMI, OK —
Mary L. Johnston, age 74, of Miami, Okla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Integris Regional Baptist Health Center in Miami.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1938, in Douthat, Okla., the daughter of John and Grace (Moudy) Crumley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Dale Johnston; a brother, Howard Crumley; two sisters, Wilba Dillinger and Donna Wilhoit; a brother-in-law, Leslie Dillinger; a granddaughter, Kelly Hiatt; and a half-sister, Helen Dennis.
She is survived by three sons, Glenn D. Johnston and his wife, Daryl, Bob Johnston and his wife, Dorothy and Benny Johnston and his wife, Tina, all of Miami; and a daughter, Gail Lambert and her husband, Brian, of Owasso, Okla. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mary L. Johnston will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, with Bill Kahler, officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be the Miami Police Department and the Miami Fire Department. Interment will be held in Ballard Cemetery, Bernice, Okla.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami.
