WEBB CITY, MO —

Mary K. Miles, 87, of Webb City, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 14, 1925, in Adrian, Mo., to Grover Piatt and Cordelia Haggard Piatt.

Mary married John F. Miles on July 28, 1944. He survives her at their home.

She is also survived by her children, Susan Lynn Forshee, of Grove, Okla., and John David Miles, of Webb City; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Darlene Downing and Peggy Paden, both of Chetopa, Kan.

Mary has been taken for cremation and no services have been scheduled at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
