Elizabeth (Beth) Kane Tippey

TWIN FALLS, ID —

Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Kane Tippey, 62, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Twin Falls, Idaho, where she lost her battle with cancer.

Beth was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Joplin, Mo., to Arthur J. and Mary Elizabeth (O'Donnell) Kane.

Beth was married to Phillip Loy Tippey June 23, 1979, in Baxter Springs, Kan.

Beth was preceded in death by both parents; and an infant brother, Arthur James Jr.

Survivors include husband, Phillip Tippey, of Buhl, Idaho; sister, Mary A. Wilson, husband, Bill, Baxter Springs; brother, Michael Kane, wife, Janice, Lee's Summit, Mo.; brother, J.D. Kane, Riverside, Calif.; nieces and nephews; and close friend, Todd VanGorden, wife, Amy, Ozark, Mo.

Beth attended and graduated from Baxter Springs schools. She graduated from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kan.

Beth was employed by Capricorn Financial Strategies, of Twin Falls. Phillip was retired from Western Waterproofing, of St. Louis, Mo. The couple lived in various places and traveled extensively with friends all over the U.S.

Beth enjoyed life and spread that joy to all those around her! She loved her dog and cats.

A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 4, at the Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl. Father Jorge Garcia officiated.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Beth Tippey's memory.
