Dencil "Denny" Dampier

Lebanon, Mo. — Dencil "Denny" Dampier, 81, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in Lebanon, Mo.

Dencil was born Feb. 18, 1932 to Roy and Helen Ardella Davison Dampier, in Lebanon, Mo. He married Billie Ann Delmore, in 1954.  

 He is survived by His Wife, Billie Anne; two sons, Robert Dampier, of Joplin, Mo., and Reginald L. Dampier and special friend, Joel Link, of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Rebecca Adams and her husband, Steve, of Neosho, Mo., and Catherine Dampier and Jack, of Seattle, Wash.; One brother, Bob Dampier and wife, Thena, of   Bennett Springs, Mo.; Two Sisters, Nancy Henke and her husband, Todd, and Gayle West and her Husband, Jerry, Of Independence, Mo.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a special friend, Joel Link; Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel, Lebanon, Mo., with full military honors. He will be cremated as was his request following services. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Shadel's Colonial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel, Lebanon.
