JOPLIN, MO —
Deacon Jeremiah Davis, infant son of Ron and Trina Davis, of Joplin, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital.
Deacon was born Jan. 11, 2013, at Freeman West.
In addition to his parents, Deacon is survived by a brother, Samuel Caleb Davis, of the home; paternal grandparents, Dean and Sandy Davis, of Van Buren, Ark.; paternal great-grandmother, Josie Davis, of Van Buren; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Lou Titsworth, of Van Buren; and maternal grandmother, Johnnie White, of Cedarville, Ark.
Deacon's father said "We named him Deacon because it means "servant". He has already brought out the servant heart in so many people."
Funeral services for Deacon will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
