Esther N. Wilson, age 84, of Reeds, Mo., passed away Feb. 13, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
She was born June 25, 1928, in Jasper County, Mo., to Alfred and Mildred (Laub) Baker. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Center Point Christian Church and the Jolli Neighbors Extension Club.
Esther was united in marriage to Warren "Dick" Wilson on June 20, 1948, at Carthage, Mo. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2007.
Survivors include one son, Phil Wilson, Reeds; one daughter, Ann Knell, of Carthage, Mo.; two sisters, Gladys Cunningham, Mount Vernon, Mo., and Wilma Hart, of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick; two brothers, Donald Baker and Leonard Baker; one sister, Martha Buster; one great-grandson, Mason Heese; and one great-granddaughter, Landree Heese.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, at Center Point Christian Church. Burial will be in Fasken Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 16, from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
