WYANDOTTE, Okla. —
Celsita "Celeste" Elsa Harrison, age 65, died on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at her residence in Wyandotte, Okla.
Celeste was born on March 9, 1947, in Belen, N.M. She was the daughter of Pilar and Eva (Chavez) Sais. She worked for AT&T, ALCO, Pacific Telephone, Rockwell International and owned and operated a popcorn store. Celeste volunteered for the Ottawa County OHCE, Christian Mission Thrift Store in Grove, was a member of the DAV auxiliary and was the past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Grove. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Grove.
Celeste was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, George Harrison, of the home; and her five children, Bryon Sanchez, of Palmdale, Calif., Dino Racicot and his wife, Kristen, of Phoenix, Ariz., Denise Boyd and her husband, David, of Monett, Mo., Keith Harrison and wife, Amie, of Miami, Okla., and Kevin Harrison, of Fayetteville, N.C., who is currently in Afghanistan. Celeste was blessed with nine grandchildren, Kirstin, Joshua, Jamie, David, Kaley, Brandon, Brayden, Hallie and Devon. She also leaves behind seven siblings, Barney Sais, Tivo Sais, Valentine Sais, Bengie Sais, Virginia Chavez, Mabel Miranda and Margie Garcia.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Cornerstone Church in Grove, Okla., with Rev. Mark Gamber officiating. Celeste will be laid to rest at the Olympus North Cemetery in Grove. Casket bearers will be David Boyd, Bryan Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, Richard Sais, Keith Harrison and Joe Hunter.
