CARTHAGE, Mo. —

Jim R. Vonier, 61, formerly of Carthage, Mo., and Marietta, Ga., passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, where he had recently moved to enjoy his retirement years.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Vonier, of San Miguel; his daughter, Becky Stone Carlton, of Anderson, Mo.; his son, Jimmy R. Vonier II, of Texas; his mother, Lavon Vonier, of Carthage; his sister, Sharon Herrera, of Carthage; and one granddaughter, Emily Stone, of Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father, James Arlo Vonier.

Services are incomplete at this time.
