CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — Norma Jean "Pud" Trussell, age 83, Carl Junction, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

She was born May 16, 1929, in Lawton, Kan., one of nine children born to Effie Hall and Vernon Marshall. She grew up in Lawton, and graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus Kan. She worked at the Elder Manufacturing Company in Carl Junction, and later became a stay at home housewife.

She married Ralph Edwin Trussell in September of 1952, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2007.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and three children, Walter Fred Trussell (March 1955 to July 1955), Floyd Robert Trussell (April 1960 to December 1961) and Lloyd Rex Trussell (April 1960 to November 1960).

Pud is survived by her daughter, Tracy Minear and husband, Kevin, of Granby, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Brittany Minear.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, at Parker Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate the lives of both Norma and Ralph.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
