JOPLIN, Mo. —
Cherish Leann Barber, age 29, beautiful daughter, sister, mother, friend and granddaughter, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013. She was greeted with open arms by her Angel in Heaven, her Daddy, Teddy Barber.
Cherish was born March 25, 1984, in Joplin, to Vicky Hall and the late Teddy Barber Sr. She attended Joplin High School and was a life long resident.
Cherish is survived by her two gorgeous daughters, Sierra and Omunique; her handsome son, Xavier; mother and stepfather, Vicky and Robert Hall, of Joplin; one brother, Teddy Barber and wife, Melissa, of Joplin; two sisters, Destiny Knoderer and husband, Brandon, of Joplin, and Chanta Lichtenauer and husband, Brian, of Deridder, La.; two nephews, Tre Barber and Isaiah Knoderer; three nieces, Kaitlyn Lichtenauer, Aja Barber and Desirae Knoderer; aunts, Shannon, Darlene, Mary, Linda, Julie, Janet and Michelle; uncle, David Barber; grandparents, Robert and Jean McCoon, of Iowa, and Richard and Mavis Anderson, of Bentonville, Ark.; numerous cousins and many other family members and friends who love and will miss her very much. She is also welcomed in Heaven by her grandparents, Conner and Betty Barber; uncles and aunt, Bill, Donald and Connie Barber; cousin, Jamie Mader; and nephew, Cameron Lichtenauer.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held Friday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Chapel, Joplin.
