JOPLIN, Mo. —

Robert Glenn (Bobby) Lyle Jr., age 51, of Joplin, passed away at 4 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Mercy Hospital.

Born Oct. 25, 1961, in Joplin, he was the son of the late Robert Lyle Sr. and Doris Miller Lyle and was a lifetime Joplin resident. He worked in the electrical field.

On Nov. 14, 1981, he married Marilee Daniels in Joplin. She survives.

Additional survivors include three children, Brandon Lyle, Shannon Lyle and Misty Lyle, all of Joplin; his mother, Doris Lyle, of Joplin; two sisters, Kim Winters and husband, Jimmy, of Joplin, and Tammy Simonds, of Joplin; and five grandchildren, Hayli, Preston, Gracie, Kenzie and Kylee. An infant son, Blake Lyle, preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Parker Chapel with Gary Chatham officiating, after which, the family will receive friends. The family encourage casual attire.
