CARL JUNCTION, Mo. —

Mildred F. Miller, 95, of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away March 7, 2013, following a short illness.

She was born Nov. 28, 1917, to Orville and Alberta Turner Moser in Saginaw, Mo.

She was a very independent lady still living by her self. Mildred was a faithful person and followed Gods word. She loved her friends and enjoyed making new friends.

Mildred married Earl Miller in 1937, at Joplin, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1983.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene Miller; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Harold, Brooks and Herman Moser.

She is survived by one son, Michael Miller, Carl Junction; one daughter, Phyllis Battin, Asbury, Mo.; two brothers, Wayne Moser, the state of Texas, and Don Moser, Saginaw; one sister, Delores Amos, Joplin; six grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary Chapel with Morris Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow in the Saginaw Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10,  from 2 to 3 p.m. at the mortuary.
