DUENWEG, MO — Ruby Faye Kingery, age 82, of Duenweg, Mo., passed away at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at her home.

Ruby was born April 26, 1930, in the Scotland Community, east of Duenweg, and had lived in the Duenweg area most of her life. Ruby worked as a desk clerk for the Holiday Inn Motel in Joplin, for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Joplin.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Tip Kingery in 2007.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Kingery and wife, Marilyn, Duenweg; one brother, Mural Beckett and wife, Monta Lou, rural Joplin; one sister, Beverly Ash, Carterville, Mo.; two grandchildren, Johna Pugh and husband, Travis, Duenweg, and Jeff Kingery and wife, Missy, Duenweg; and seven great-grandchildren; Landon, Devin, Greg and wife, Holly, Elizabeth, Isaiah, Emily and Savannah.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with her grandson, Pastor Jeff Kingery officiating. Burial will follow in the Sterling Cemetery in the Atlas Community, east of Duenweg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the chapel.

Memorial contributions are requested to Calvary Chapel of Joplin in care of the mortuary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary, of Joplin.
