BAXTER SPRINGS, KS — Franklin Anthony Trickett, age 38, was found dead at his home at 2401 Park Avenue, Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010. Mr. Trickett was born June 27, 1972, in Franklin, Mo. His parents were Billie Jack and Helen Marie (Ferguson) Trickett. Except for living 10 years in Granite City, Ill., he had lived in the southeast Kansas area most of his life. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation. Among his interests were fishing and collecting family photographs. Surviving are two daughters, Kambrea Trickett and Akimma Trickett, both of Galena, Kan.; two brothers, Billie Jack Trickett, Baxter Springs, and James Trickett, Fairland, Okla.; and four sisters, Kindel McPherson, Granite City, Johnnia Wammack, Galena, Jodie Mascher, Galena, and Michele Fonseca, Baxter Springs. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Lewis; his father, Billie Jack Trickett Sr.; brother, William Anton Trickett; and sister Mitzi Marie Trickett. The body was taken for cremation under the care of Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena. Pastor Jeff D.
