Edna's hobbies were cooking, fishing, helping people and spending time with family and friends. Few people will forget her fried chicken dinners, cherry cobbler and strawberry shortcake.
Edna was a member of the Marionville VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 7566 and Mount Olive United Methodist Church, Marionville. She helped establish the Marionville VFW Clothing Bank and was their voice on the radio for numerous years. Many knew her simply as the VFW Lady.
