WEBB CITY, Mo. —
Eva Mae Hulen, age 79, of Webb City, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Freeman Hospital following a sudden illness.
Eva was born on Feb. 11, 1934, in Carthage, Mo., the daughter of Ira and Eva Neomi (Riley) Coleman. She has been a lifetime area resident, Eva spent her days as a homemaker caring for and loving her family.
She married Jerry Hulen on July 24, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., he preceded her in death in 1987.
Eva is survived by three sons, Ron Hulen, of Webb City, Jerry Hulen, of Kansas City, Mike Hulen and his wife, Tina, of Kansas City; two daughters, Kathleen Thompson, of Belton, Mo., Sandy Nation, of Webb City; three brothers, Richard Coleman and his wife, Vera, of Tacoma, Wash., Jack Coleman and his wife, Dot, of Webb City, Ronald Coleman and his wife, Nancy, of Webb City; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Terry Coleman; and her sister, Betty Wiles.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, Mo., Randy Coleman, will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
