Shell Knob, Mo. —
Mr. Robbins, son of Allen and Margaret Bates Robbins, was born on Oct. 20, 1946, in San Bernardino, Calif.
At the age of 13, he and his family moved to Exeter, where he graduated from Exeter High School in 1965. Mr. Robbins worked for Glen Garrett as an engineer, owned and operated Ozark Sports Spot as well as the Star Marine, both in Cassville, and retired from the Barry County Sheriffs office in 2009.
Before moving to Shell Knob from Springdale, Ark., he had lived in Monett and Wheaton. Larry was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Cassville. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife, Sallie Patton Robbins, whom he married on Mar. 20, 1965, in Van Buren, Ark. Additional survivors include two daughters, Deanna Warner, of Danville, Ala., and Susan Harper and her husband, Reiner, of Toronto, Canada; eight grandchildren, Larra Harper, Alexa Harper, Samuel Harper, Daniel Warner, Landon Harper, Kristopher Warner, Micah Harper, and Morgan Harper; two sisters, Darlene Sherman and her husband Kenny, of Eagle Rock, and Barbara Berg and her husband, Bill, of Exeter; and his father- and mother-in-law, Mike and Betty Patton, of Springdale.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, with Pastor John Rose, Pastor Russell Bishop, and Larrys son-in-law, Pastor Reiner Harper officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the White Funeral Home in Cassville. Pallbearers will be Glen Garrett, Gene Anstaett, Ron Collins, Paul Smith, Wade Robbins, and Ronnie Fogle. Honorary pallbearers will be his six grandsons and Mr. Alex Harper.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes and entrusted to the White Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo.

John Thomas "Tom" Periman, a life-long resident of Carthage, Mo., passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, at his home.
Ted B. Evans Sr.
Ted made his last road trip from Carthage on March 7, 2014 to a heavenly home, where he will meet many friends and family. He will be there waiting for us all. Ted was born on September 15, 1934 in Joplin, Missouri. Ted was the son of Ramon A. Evans and Dorothy Elizabeth (Beatty) Evans. Ted attended grade school in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, moving to Carthage with his parents in May 1947. He attended 8th grade at Hawthorne School and graduated from Carthage High School in 1952. Ted was the director of the CHS Band and Pep Band. He graduated in 1956 from Westminster College, Fulton, Mo, with a Liberal Art Degree, where Ted formed and directed the band. He also received a music scholarship to Tulsa University. Ted joined the Sigma Chi Fraternity and attended Sigma Chi leadership school in 1954 at Hanover College, Indiana.
