DIAMOND, Mo. —
Tyler Christopher Bower, age 19, of Diamond, Mo., passed away suddenly on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, due to injuries sustained from an auto accident.
He was born April 23, 1994 in Memphis, Tenn., to Tom and Mary Lynne Bower.
He is survived by both parents; brothers, Eric and Luke Bower; grandparents, Doug and Mary Lou Bower, of Joplin; grandfather, Charles Anderson, of Lexington, Tenn.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tyler was a 2012 graduate of Diamond High School, where he was a member of DECA and the wrestling team. He was currently attending Missouri Southern State University and was an active member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Tyler was loved by many and always had a smile on his face. He was known for his big blue eyes and even bigger hugs. He was a great older brother and would do anything for his family and friends. He lived and loved every day to the fullest. He was notably an avid lover of classic cars including the 1968 Camaro and 1973 Mustang.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Smathers officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Webb City, Mo. The family will receive friends at Forest Park Baptist Church on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Bower Family Memorial in care of Southwest Missouri Bank.
