CARTHAGE, MO —
Pamela Lassiter, 60, passed away Aug. 27, 2012, at 10:04 a.m. at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
Pam was born on Jan. 22, 1952, in Carthage, Mo., to Paul C. Lee and Yvonne (Sanders) Lee. She was a long time resident of Carthage and graduated from Carthage High School in 1969. Pam worked in the family business in the "Plaster Shop" in her earlier years. She was also a self-employed taxidermist and worked for the past 18 years at the Maple Tree Assisted Living Center as a beautician. Pam loved playing guitar, going to the lake, her horses and especially enjoyed her time spent with her clients. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 2590, Carthage. Pam loved to dance and her family and many friends. Her favorite two quotes were, "You're done, don't you look beautiful" and "Don't worry, be happy".
Pam is survived by her mother, Yvonne Lee, of Carthage; one son, Corey Lassiter and wife, Lori, of Jasper, Mo.; three stepsons, Bryce Lassiter and wife, Mitze, of Waco, Mo., Bill Lassiter and wife, Jennie, of Oronogo, Mo., and Brett Lassiter and wife, Barbara, of Alba, Mo.; one brother, Randall Lee and wife, Carol and one sister, Linda Rush and husband, Tom, both of Carthage; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Lee on July 29, 1992; and one sister, Carla Joy Lee in March of 1957.
Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
