JOPLIN, MO —
Bernice Yust Dack passed to her eternal home on Aug. 20, 2012.
She was born in Seneca, Mo., and lived most of life in the Joplin area.
Her parents were Osborne K. and Elizabeth H. DeWeese. She has four siblings, Betty J. Yust, of Catoosa, Okla., Vivian Robertson, of Joplin, Vernon DeWeese, of Racine, Mo., and Eldonna DeWeese, of Bolivar, Mo.
Bernice was a talented musician, singer and writer with a giving heart.
She was married to Fred Yust from 1951 to 1961, and had four sons, Timothy Yust (deceased), Kurt Yust and wife, Nancy, of Racine, Dan Yust and wife, Nadine, of Joplin, and David Yust, of Joplin.
She remarried in 1982, to Bradley Dack Sr., of McCook Neb., and he preceded her in death.
Bernice has four grandchildren; eight great-grand children; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at the Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
