JOPLIN, Mo. —
Betty L. Hilton, 85, Joplin, Mo., was born March 17, 1928, in East St. Louis, and departed this life peacefully May 10, 2013.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul Hilton, MD. She was a medical records librarian at St. Louis Children's Hospital and Grim-Smith Hospital in Kirksville. She and Paul lived in Kirksville, at 904 East Harrision Street, until they moved to Joplin in 1974.
Survivors include daughter, Mary McEvilly and husband, Mike, of Spring, Texas; and son, Timothy Hilton and wife, Rae, of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. in Crane Community Cemetary, Crane, Mo., under the care of Westrip Funeral Home, of Crane, Mo.
The children would like to thank Heart to Heart for their years of care, service and devotion.
Memorials may be given in Betty's name to Alzheimer's Organization.
