Sarah Lynn Carmichael

GERMANTOWN, TN —

Sarah Lynn Carmichael, 17, of Germantown, Tenn., went to be with the Lord Our Father on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.

She entered this world on Sept. 22, 1995, in Tulsa, Okla., to Scott Carmichael and Robin Carmichael.

For 17 amazing years, Sarah was a loving daughter, wonderful sister, caring niece and beautiful grandchild. Sarah was a junior at Houston High School, employed by Sky Zone and volunteered at the Haunted Corn Maze. She attended Hope Presbyterian Church and volunteered annually for St. Jude. Of the many things that brought Sarah joy in this life, she especially loved softball, acting, being a member of her high school HOSA organization, music and spending time with her family and friends.  She was full of life and loved to have fun.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Robin Carmichael, of Germantown; her father, Scott Carmichael, of Branson, Mo.; her big brother, Bryan Carmichael, of Germantown; her grandparents, Mary Jane Brown, of Arlington, Tenn., Gwen and Don Wilson, of Tulsa, Okla., and Frank and Colleen Carmichael, of Joplin, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9th, at Hope Presbyterian Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10th, at Hope Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bret Spiegelman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery East.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to The Regional Medical Center in Memphis, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Lifeblood.

Sarah is now at rest with her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and will be forever and deeply missed by her family and friends.
