Robert Miller

MOUNT VERNON, MO — Robert William Miller, 89, of Mount Vernon, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Fayetteville, Ark. Robert was born on June 10, 1921, to George and Lulu Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kathryn L. Miller. Mr. Miller was a veteran with the Army Air Corps, during World War II. Robert was very active with the veteran¹s home in Missouri. Robert had many hobbies that included golf, gardening, making jewelry and an antique collector. He belonged to the American Legion in Lockwood, Mo., and the VFW. Robert also played professional football for the Winnipeg Blue-Bombers in Canada. Mr. Miller is survived by a daughter, Sheila Romano and husband, William, of Moore, S.C.; a son, Craig D. Miller and wife, Nancy, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a daughter, Gloria Colaner and husband, Lou, of The Villages, Fla. Robert is also survived by one sister, Ruth Bova, of Middletown, N.J.; one brother, Graham Miller, of Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother-in-law, Jack Ceirnal, of Golden City, Mo. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Lee and Wayne Robert Curry and Ashley Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Megan Clary and Elizabeth Clary.
