ALBA, Mo. — Lonny Eugene Davis, age 59, Alba, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at his home after an illness.

Lonny was born June 16, 1954, in Carthage and had lived in Alba  all of his life.

He attended Alba Elementary School and was a graduate of Webb City High School. He worked as a welder and machinist at Cardinal Scale in Webb City for 40 years. He enjoyed horseback riding; rebuilding vehicles; motorcycle riding; piloting; building experimental airplanes and flying model airplanes and helicopters.

Lonnie was a dedicated, workaholic and could do anything mechanical. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his daughter, Becky Stevens and her husband, Brian; his son, Rusty Davis; one sister, Sandi Tindell and her family; one brother, Duane Davis and his family; and four grandchildren, Byron Stevens, Brooke Stevens, Camry Davis and Lilly Davis.

Memorial services are planned for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Alba Christian Church. Roger Hasselquist, Minister, will officiate. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
