JOPLIN, Mo. —
Randie J.Tingle, age 62, of Joplin, Mo., went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Randie was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Joplin, the son of J.R. and Delores Tingle. He lived all of his life in Joplin and was a graduate of Parkwood High School in 1969. He worked in the grocery business at Thriftway and Consumers from 1967 to 1982, when he then became the owner/operator of Green Acres Lawn Care and Landscaping. He took great pride in taking care of each lawn and every customer. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be golfing, hunting, or just working in the yard. Randie had a desire to learn about history and was the go-to guy for facts, dates, and figures. He treasured all his friends and enjoyed spending time in their company. Most of all he loved his wife and family and cherished providing for them.
He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Linda (Hindman) Tingle, of the home; his two sons, Brandon and wife, Angee, Webb City, and Blake Tingle, Joplin; two grandsons, Cail and Cooper; mother, Delores Tingle; and sister, Tammy McBee.
He was loved and cherished by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, yet we celebrate that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Community Chapel Church in Joplin, with Scott Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary, of Joplin.
