CARL JUNCTION, MO —
Elizabeth Ann Brewer, age 75, of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, following a brief illness.
Elizabeth was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Miami, Okla., to Robert and Waunitta White. She moved to California with her husband, Wayne in 1958, and returned to the Joplin area in 1977. Elizabeth worked as a secretary at College Press, Blendville Christian Church and Allegier Martin and Assoc. engineering firm, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the College Heights Christian Church.
Elizabeth married Wayne H. Brewer, the love of her life in March of 1956. He preceded her in death in June 1970.
Survivors include one son, Ronald Brewer and wife, Teresa, Carl Junction; two daughters, DeAnna Blevins and husband, Gary, Midwest City, Okla., and Terri Freese and husband, Mike, Davis, Okla.; grandma, Wilma White, Salinas, Calif.; one brother, Lyn White, Salinas; two sisters, Sharon Dykes, Salinas, and Janet Catt, Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Rick Bushnell, Minister, officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
Memorial contributions are requested to College Heights Christian School or Freeman Cancer Institute in care of the mortuary.
The family will be at the home of the son, Ron Brewer, 403 Sunnybrook Lane, Carl Junction.
