JOPLIN, MO —
Pat Yarbrough, born March 15, 1928, passed away Jan. 14, 2013. He was a loving father, wonderful grandfather, amazing leader and friend that left behind a legacy.
Pat was the Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, which he established in Riverside, Calif., in 1971. He was a Pastor and general contractor. Pat moved to Joplin, Mo. in 1977, and has pastored at Faith Tabernacle until his passing. The lives that he has touched are countless. His work that he established through his life will carry on. There is no better example that we know, of a man who has lived his life through Christ. He will be greatly missed and never replaced.
Pat is survived by daughters, Wytonna Yarbrough-Sulier and Twyla Johnson; grandchildren, Teresa Yarbrough, Jonathan Yarbrough, Kristen Moore, Kiley, Cobb and Caleb Sulier, Hailey Johnson and Alexander Johnson; great-grandchildren, Emily Yarbrough, Zachary Cusick, Landon Moore and Bailey Moore; great-great-granddaughter, Zoey Stark; and brothers, Waymond Yarbrough and Burlin Yarbrough.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Tabernacle with Twyla Johnson officiating. Interment in Osborne Memorial Cemetery will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary.
