After his discharge from the Air Force he was employed with Vickers in 1963, as a manufacturing engineer. He was with Vickers in Joplin until his retirement in 1992, all except the last five years that he was with Vickers in Omaha, Neb. After his retirement he returned to Webb City.

Paul married Vi Williams on Feb. 12, 1977. She survives at the home.

Also surviving are three daughters, Christi and Larry Brockway, Rogers, Ark., Cathi Evans, Oronogo, Mo., and Cari and John Long, of Webb City. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Also surviving is a sister, Diane and John Coats, of Bucyrus, Mo.; and five nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Elwood Poulson, Michigan, on Feb. 7, 2013.

Paul was of the Methodist faith. He spent many hours in his workshop making furniture, toy boxes, rocking horses or just helping the grandkids pound nails. He also took many bike rides with the grandkids.

Services will be held at Parker's Chapel, Thursday, Feb. 14th, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Oronogo Cemetery with Military Honors.
