WEBB CITY, Mo. — Lillie Belle Etcheson Dickson, age 92, of Webb City, Mo., passed away at Freeman Hospital on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

Born Oct. 24, 1920, in Joplin, Mo., she was the daughter of the late James F. Etcheson and Edna C. Yeager and was a life long resident of the Webb City area. She was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a compassionate woman and one dedicated to her Christian beliefs and was a member of Frisco Church in Webb City. She had a warm and generous spirit.

On March 8, 1941, she married Ray C. Dickson. He preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2007.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry W. Dickson and his wife, Darlene, of Webb City, and Jack R. Dickson and his wife, Jeannie, of Joplin; one daughter, Evelyn Myers and her husband, Erman, of Webb City; and seven grandchildren, Mike Dickson, of Avilla, Mo., Christy Toppings and her husband, Gary, of Galena, Kan., Steve Dickson, of Altus, Okla., Jennifer Davis and her husband, Greg, of Carrolton, Texas, Duane Myers and his wife, Karla, of Diamond, Mo., Connie Waggoner, of Webb City, and Jay Dickson and his wife, Kim, of Flower Mound, Texas. She has 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Pansy Wardlow; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Helena Schmidtz.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Frisco Church in Webb City, Pastor Matt Snyder, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m.
